TERMS OF SALE
ORDERS, SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY
Herein detailed are our terms of sales which shall be construed as a legal contract between Jamila Mubdia, L.L.C. and a purchasing customer. This agreement’s terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice, and constitute the entire agreement between the purchasing customer and Jamila Mubdia, L.L.C. relating to the purchase of fine art products such as painterly fine art photography, paintography and wearable fine art products (thereafter collectively called ‘fine art’ or ‘product’) on the website.
By placing an order, making a purchase, or otherwise shopping on the website, the customer accepts this sale agreement and agrees to be bound by it.
Under this agreement, Stacey D. Moore shall retain the copyright and title to fine art being purchased even after such fine art has been paid for by the customer.
Orders are not binding upon Stacey D. Moore until such orders have been so acknowledged and accepted. Once you have placed an order successfully, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you, providing details and value of your order, which will debited to your credit/debit card.
We may not accept a customer’s order if the ordered item is out of stock, we are unable to get proper authorization for payment, we suspect fraudulent activity or violation of these terms of sales, or if we identify a product or pricing error. If we are unable to fulfill your order following our order acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone to advise you accordingly.
Invoices are payable within the time frame noted on the invoice, measured from the date of the invoice. Terms of payment are within Stacey D. Moore’s sole discretion.
The responsibility for sales tax and all other taxes associated with the order shall be borne by the customer.
In some cases, collectors will pay taxes and customs fees on artwork they purchase from our site, depending on their country of residence as well as the country the artwork is shipping from. See below for more information.
- U.S. Sales Tax: If your artwork is shipping to or within the United States a state sales tax may be added to your total. This is based on your location and local state tax regulations. A breakdown of all costs, including any applicable taxes, will be visible at checkout prior to submitting your payment information.
- Export sales: Our primary jurisdiction of sales is the United States. We may however under certain circumstances sell fine arts for use in other countries. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain export documentation from the federal government if products being purchased are for export.
- Value Added Tax (VAT): If your artwork is shipping to a location outside of the US, for original artwork, VAT (value added tax) may be included in your online checkout process. This will be labeled as a ‘customs’ fee and will be visible at checkout prior to submitting your payment information.
For Open Edition and Limited prints, VAT or customs fees are not included during the online checkout process. You will receive a separate invoice from the courier when the print is delivered.
Expect otherwise stated, prices for products through www.staceydmoore.com do not include shipping costs. We will display the attendant shipping cost for a particular product only after you have reached the payment page. You understand and accept that shipping charges may vary with orders.
